Gather together
Church happens every Sunday, but we meet in two ways.
The first and third Sundays of the month are GATHER weeks. We gather to worship the King together in our space and learn from the Word in community. If you’d like to know what to expect, gather services typically follow this flow:
Welcome & Announcements
We start by communicating important information about our direction as part of our worship.
Worship
Spirit-led worship of the King—kids in 1st grade and older included! (1st-4th graders head to Kids Ministry after worship.)
Scripture Reading
Intentional reading of God's Word together.
Message
Focused on the truth of God's Word and becoming disciples.
Prayer
Opportunity to reflect on what God’s Word is challenging us with and to receive prayer as God is working in our hearts.
Community
Intentional time in our gatherings to build community. Hang out and connect!
Our Gather services are family-friendly and kids of every age are welcome! Our Kids Ministry offers classes for infants through 4th graders. Knowing what God’s Word teaches and how it is relevant for our everyday lives is a main priority for Kids Ministry at 717. Kids follow Jesus’ example of loving God first and then loving and serving (all) others. On Connect weeks, we encourage family discipleship at Home Groups. More info coming soon!
